Thanks to our efforts in providing an ecologically-sound way to order office supplies, Paperflow has been awarded ISO 14001 certification. This follows our environmental management system being independently assessed by the British Accreditation Bureau.
ISO 14001 was first published as a standard in 1996 and specifies the requirements for an environmental management system. It applies to those environmental aspects over which companies and organisations have control and where they can be expected to have an influence.
The cornerstone standard of the ISO 14000 series, ISO 14001 specifies a framework of control for an Environmental Management System for companies and organisations wishing to:
- Implement, maintain and improve an environmental management system
- Assure conformance with a stated environmental policy
- Demonstrate conformance
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations
